Afdelings info:Blangstedgård is located in southeastern Odense approx. 6 km from the city center. It's a colorful and unconventional housing area, which was built in 1988 as a housing exhibition for an architectural competition. Blangstedgård is a mix of both family and student housing. The area was previously a research farm for fruit production. Many of the fruit trees have been allowed to stay, and the farm-buildings are now house for common activities for the entire area under the name HOUSE 88. The department consists of "The Light Brown House" and "The Pink House", which has gained much attention for its architecture. Both houses has its own courtyard with rooms for bikes and playground. The student housing are located in 2 wells in "The Pink House", which also has shared laundry facilities. There are shops near Blantstedgård and there's approx. 2 km. to Bilka.
